The results of the On Farm Carbon Evaluation undertaken for HG Savage & Co for the 2020 season show total farm emissions of 1,598 t of CO2 equivalent. This is made up of crop emissions which accounted for 734 t CO2e (46% of the total) and 863 t CO2e (54% of the total). HG Savage & Co emits approximately 0.3t CO2e per hectare which is substantially below industry norms of 1 – 1.5t per hectare.
